How high is the accuracy of Octolens?

It depends on the platform. For Twitter/X, Reddit, DEV, YouTube and a few others, we get 100% of all keyword mentions. For the other platforms, we see the mentions like a logged out user searching on Google. Therefore, it is possible that we do not recognize every mention (the hit rate is still over 80%).

Octolens acts like a team member who reviews posts and determines their importance to your business. You likely don't want every mention clogging your inbox—only the ones that matter. Our AI assesses each post's relevance based on the context of your business and the needs of B2B SaaS. It assigns a high, medium, or low relevance score, and it also tags posts with sentiment and categories (e.g., buy-intent, customer testimonial, promotional). You can choose to receive alerts for all posts or just those marked as high or high and medium (default).
